As development of the site nears initial completion, I am starting this to document the ongoing plans and problems in the development of Flipsy.

This might be a good place to note what Flipsy is intended to be. The simplest description is that it is supposed to combine the features of a collection manager with a product marketplace for books, music, movies, and games. So you can add your collection and share it with your own subdomain, and you can easily sell your items to other anyone.

Why should Flipsy exist when there is a glut of collection managers, as well as Amazon and Half for buying and selling? A few reasons, but the major one is that you are paid immediately and there are no commissions whatsoever.

Anyway, use the site, and let me know what you like or dislike, and maybe this will turn into something useful.
