About Flipsy
Flipsy was created to fill the need for a marketplace that is both free
and trustworthy. Existing marketplace-style sites allow for comments and exceptions
on item descriptions that make it difficult to know exactly what you are getting. Flipsy addesses
this by limiting items to identification by barcode, and condition to very good and above.
We do not charge commissions on sales because we want to foster increased trading
on our site. A side benefit is that we do not process the payments ourselves, so access to
payment details is limited to the processor and made more secure.
Flipsy receives its operating revenue from the "Live Prices" section on the item details pages.
We prefer to continue running the site ad-free for the most part, so if you see an item you want
